Why goat manure

Feed your soil, not just your plants

  • Rich in nutrients

A natural source of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, the three nutrients plants lean on most for healthy, steady growth.

  • Low odor

Unlike cow or horse manure, goat manure is nearly odorless, so it is easy to use around the house, garden, and raised beds.

  • Won’t burn plants

Goat droppings are a “cool” manure, mild enough to use straight from the bag without burning tender roots or seedlings.

  • Builds living soil

Improves moisture retention, aeration, and the beneficial microbial life that healthy, regenerating soil depends on.

From our herd

Raised on rotational grazing

Many of our goats are born and raised right here at Tradewinds Ranch. We move the herd across the pasture with rotational grazing, letting them graze one stretch of land, then rest it so the grass, the roots, and the soil all recover before they return.

Their manure closes the loop. What the herd leaves behind becomes food for next season’s soil, milled into the powder in every bag. It is the same regenerative cycle we are building across the whole ranch, in a form you can carry home to your own garden.

How to use it

Top-dress a handful around the base of plants and water it in, mix it into planting holes and containers, or steep it in water to brew a gentle liquid feed. Safe for vegetables, flowers, fruit trees, and houseplants. A little goes a long way, so start light and build from there.
