Pick the size that fits your entry, add any extras, and reserve your install week, paid in full.

We source and style it

We hand-select the pumpkins, deliver them, and compose the display around your porch and architecture.

Enjoy the season

The pumpkins are yours to keep as long as they last. Prefer a clean finish? We collect all of them or just some at season's end, and they go home to feed our animals and become compost.

No sourcing, no hauling, no setup, and cleanup only if you want it.

Every porch is styled fresh from what the harvest gives us, so pumpkin quantity, sizes, colors, and weights vary. The photos show the design direction and scale of each package, not an exact inventory.

However your porch wraps up, the pumpkins never head to a landfill. You pick the ending that fits your home.

Keep them

Love how it looks? Keep every pumpkin as long as it lasts. Carve them, cook them, or let the porch ride into November. They are yours.

Send them back to the ranch

Prefer a clean finish? We collect all of the pumpkins, or just the ones you're done with, and bring them home to Tradewinds and other local farms, where they feed animals and finish as compost that rebuilds next season's soil.

This is regenerative by design. What decorates your porch in October can feed our animals and build our land by spring. See how we farm.

Southern California heat is hard on pumpkins. Hand-selecting and shade-staging every pumpkin at the ranch before it reaches your porch is how we keep a display beautiful longer.

Our ranch

Seventy years a flower farm, and now ours to care for.

Tradewinds Ranch spent more than seventy years as a flower farm before our family became its next caretakers in 2022. Two acres on a hilltop in Oceanside, slowly being regenerated.

We hand-select every pumpkin from California growers and style it on your porch. Choose our end-of-season pickup, for all of the pumpkins or just some, and they come home to Tradewinds and other local farms to feed animals and build compost.

Pumpkin porches is a family operation, led by our fifth grader, Lilly.

The whole family is in on it, her siblings pitching in and her parents backing each step, but Lilly is the one learning the ins and outs of starting a business, from sourcing the pumpkins and designing the fliers to knocking on doors, scheduling installs, and taking care of every customer. Every porch you reserve helps fund what she is learning.

How long do pumpkins last on a Southern California porch?

Uncarved pumpkins in shade typically hold six to ten weeks here. Full afternoon sun shortens that, which is why we stage and place them carefully.

What happens to the pumpkins at the end of the season?

They're yours to keep as long as they last. If you'd prefer a clean finish, post-season pickup is included with The Harvest, The Heirloom, and The Estate, and an optional add-on with every other package. We can take all of the pumpkins or just some, and they go to Tradewinds and other local farms to become animal feed and compost.

What happens if a pumpkin spoils?

Any uncarved pumpkin that spoils within fourteen days is replaced free under the Fresh Porch Guarantee. Send us a photo and we'll bring a new one.

How far in advance should I reserve?

Ordering for the 2026 season closed on September 21. Preorders and scheduling for fall 2027 open July 1, 2027. Join the notify list on our Pumpkins page and we will email you the day it opens, so you get the widest choice of install dates.
